Trading Traffic in the NN niche First there are uniform rules for what are acceptable practices when trading traffic in the nn niche and they are fully explained in the NN rules written way back in 2003. The basic idea for creating the rules was to keep the NN niche ‘clean’ and hopefully build trust with surfers. An abbreviated listing of the traffic trading rules is:
Things NOT allowed: - Blind Linking - Gallery Skimming - Chained pop ups - Multiple pop ups
Things ALLOWED: - Text links (both permanent & dynamically created by trade scripts) - Thumb links (MUST have site title above and/or below thumb image!!) - 1 pop up to a site that accepts being popped (toplists) - Text links followed by or accompanied with descriptions.
Now that you know the rules for traffic trading in the NN niche you need to know what scripts are being used the most and why. |

A brief and abbreviated listing of the basic rules of the Non Nude Webmaster Community and their reasons for existing and their origins.
This listing is not definitive, there are variations on the rules and some leeway as too how strictly sites adhere to them but in general serious non nude webmasters consider these rules essential to the survival of the scene.
1. Obviously the #1 rule is NO NUDITY on the site. This includes any advertising (i.e. banners). This is a hard concept for people to understand and abide by, for the main reason that the closer you get to nudity the more clicks/traffic etc you may get so the desire of many is to push the envelope. |

Submitting GalleriesSubmitting galleries, also called TGPing can be a very good way to get a feel for the adult industry and help a newbie webmaster hone his skills in a number of areas. First a newbie should be aware of some terms and how they relate. A TGP stands for “thumbnail gallery post” which is a site that lists galleries. Generally a tgp is a simple site that either lists galleries in text format or uses a sample thumbnail from each gallery. The original tgps were all text but now the more popular format is the “thumb tgp” because in theory they are more productive and can get more traffic. Most tgps take submissions of galleries from webmasters though they don’t have to and with the growth of free hosted galleries many tgps are being built that do not require outside submissions.... |
